Administrative Law
Administrative law is the body of law that governs the activities of administrative agencies of government. Government agency action can include rulemaking, adjudication, or the enforcement of a specific regulatory agenda. It deals with the decision-making of administrative units of government (for example, tribunals, boards or commissions) that are part of a national regulatory scheme in such areas as police law, international trade, manufacturing, the environment, taxation, broadcasting, immigration and transport.
Bankrupcy
The Bankruptcy Act provides two main types of insolvency proceedings, which are separate proceedings with limited options of conversion from one to another and only a limited number of common rules:
-
Bankruptcy liquidation proceedings (konkurz), which provides for a sale of the debtor's assets (piecemeal or as a going-concern) and proportional satisfaction of the creditors from the cash proceeds.
-
Restructuring proceedings (reštrukturalizácia), which provides for a flexible approach under a restructuring plan, and in particular for the restructuring of the debtor's liabilities or for other restructuring measures (including a sale of the assets).
Dept Recovery
We are performing all legal activities in order to obtain a debt recovery. In this respect, our lawyers may summon the debtors verbally or in writing through notification or subpoena or, depending on the Client’s choice, we may draft all necessary papers and, we may represent or assist Clients to perform all legal procedures related to the Court fast recovery procedure or as the case may be, to the common recovery procedure, which covers the conciliation procedure, civil claim action, forced execution, until the effective recovery of debts.
Civil Law
Civil Law means non-criminal law. The law relating to civil wrongs and quasi-contracts is part of the civil law. Civil law can, like criminal law, be divided into substantive law and procedural law. Civil law is the branch of law dealing with disputes between individuals or organizations, in which compensation may be awarded to the victim. For instance, if a car crash victim claims damages against the driver for loss or injury sustained in an accident, this will be a civil law case. Civil law differs from criminal law, which emphasises more upon punishment than on dispute resolution.
